On April 25, 2020, Sweden's 32nd national naturum, naturum Öresund at Marine Education Center was inaugurated. The city of Malmö is the principal for the activities carried out by us at Marint Kunskapscenter. School classes and the general public come to the nature room to participate in the activities.

A nature centre is the gateway to a nature area and should create the opportunity and accessibility for everyone to experience and get closer to nature. This is very inspiring because it means that we will be able to spread even more knowledge about the ocean and why it is so important. Naturum Öresund opens up many new opportunities both for us and for our visitors - extended opening hours, a greater range of activities and guided tours as well as completely new exhibitions with an emphasis on our Öresund and the Global Goals. That naturum Öresund becomes a reality is a step in the right direction for a more ocean-conscious world.
