The city planning office in the city of Malmö commissioned three teams of architects to look at a coastal protection of the Western, Northern and Middle harbors as well as central Malmö through a protective gate from the Western harbor as well as raising land, dikes, raised quays, filling in harbor basins.

Marine Education Center was invited to team White architects to look at City of Malmö´s ocean area and how nature-based solutions can increase the city's blue biodiversity and reduce climate impact in the future.
